Project introduction
The mine, located in Gauteng province in South Africa, is privately owned. The mine has a ventilation system that uses baffles to control air speed and airflow. This is an ancient method of technological speed control which has the following disadvantages:
(1)Narrow adjusted speed range
Due to baffle control method can’t be elaboration and sensitive, so the system adjusted speed range is narrow.
(2)High power loss
Because of baffle control method is an old and outmoded speed control technology, there is much power consumption during speed adjust period.

Application and Advantage
Some of the main advantages of simple frequency converters are as follows:

The ventilation fan and its system operate under optimal conditions and can save energy.
